400 Walbro pump install

The pump seal split by it self after the install. See picture in link.

1. What seals do other 400l pump user use?
2. where can you buy just that seal?

Stm sells just the seal.. I have had to replace mine a few times... My fix was to cut the filter housing off the pump hanger and run a hose barb fitting like a double pumper would

I wonder if this is why i'm leaning out out high boost? I just drilled the siphon and upgraded the return line yesterday hoping it would solve my problem. It lowered my base fuel pressure but the car is still leaning out at WOT.

I have the e85 walboro 455lph and it fits the hangar. I'm still having fueling issues though. Gonna try a couple more things tomorrow

the walbro 400/416 have larger diameter nozzles and thicker barbs, so i can see how it could happen. my bet is that you shoved the seal over the barbs on the pump outlet whereas i cut off all but a tiny bit of the barb on my walbro 416. i ran a walbro 400 for about a year with no problem, and i have several months now on a walbro 416 with no problem.
