I do dig that set-up, I actually have a friend doing that exact build right now. But for the time being I'm gonna keep it a 2.0L. I'm going for a balanced set-up, by that I mean modifying each area of the car in proportion to each other. I could go for a 2.4L FP Black set-up but i'd be dumping a majority of my money into the engine and the suspension and other components of the car i'm looking to expand upon would not get upgraded like I want. Maybe down the road though

On MAF I was using an HKS Racing Suction intake, but I don't recommend it. It flowed plenty of air, but it wasn't really filtering anything out lol. I went to a 4'' custom with a K&N cone filter when I swapped to Speed Density I'm much happier with.

I'm gonna get a speed density tune here shortly. The tuner i'm using has options for MAF but i'm gonna stick with SD

I'll be sure to throw up some dyno sheets as soon as I can get the turbo

Thought I'd give you a quick run-down of the set up on my IX SE which has proven to be an extremely reliable and extremely fun car for daily driving

- BBK Full Ported (Journal Bearing) @ 26.5psi
- All stock motor
- CBRD FMIC (3.8" garret core)
- CBRD UICP w/ small battery
- AMS LICP
- AMS TBE (catless)
- Megan o2
- Synapse bpv
- Perrin intake
- 1000cc injectors
- 255 walbro
- 3 port ebc

All the work was done by Chad which is why all quality parts were used and the tune came out bad *** I am happy to report that 12k miles and 2 years later, I haven't had a single issue and I've done some long road trips. Recent compression test read 150/150/150/149. Spool/turbo response feels immediate just like others have said. So now with the newer 3B BBK Full, no doubt you will be in good hands.

Good luck on your build!
