1st gear grind!!!!!!

Sorry to bump an old thread.
But, I'm having this same issue.
06 IX MR. Only 1st gear grinds, and it's not all the time either...
Only thing I've changed recently is the BR underhood shifter bushings and BR shifter base bushings.
Intermittent grinding going from 2nd to first at very low speeds. Shifter rattles/vibrates and does not want to go into 1st.
