Clunking and Whine After torque solutions rear diff bushings install

I'm installing torque solutions rear diff bushings in my evo ix and have a few questions. The set comes with two big washers, a thick and a thin one. From what I understand the thick one goes over the bolt and the thin one goes at the top where it mounts to the body. Can someone clarify this for me if that's correct and also the factory spacer that goes between the body and bushing, does that need to be left in along with the thin spacer or do you just use the thin spacer only.

I am still getting the loud clunking noise during fast shifting and i am now hearing a drivetrain whine as well. Anyone else have these issues with these bushings? Any ideas what i can do it resolve them?

Im not sure if its the same however when I installed my Energy Suspension rear diff bushings I used the thin washer on the top and the thick washer on the bottom, just as you said. As for the factory spacer I did not reinstall that.

I dont know the differences between the ES and the TS bushings however I dont see why there would be any physical differences other than the durometer of each.

i did use the the video but it doesnt say anything about the thicker spacer or whether or not to keep the factory spacer or not. Im getting a whine now after the install and im still getting the clunk with hard shifting so im trying to confirm things here

I just installed these and today i tested it this evening and it clunked worse than before, what was your solution? I called ts and the guy on the phone told me to reuse the factory washer on the side mounts top and bottom. ??? I didnt see anybody else say that they did this? EVO X by the way

This is correct, likely the setups are the same.

The diff whine is from NVH which you couldn't hear before on the stock bushings because of the durometer, now with stiffer bushings it transfers it through the body and makes it audible....
