i just put in a evo 9 turbo with turbosmart wastgate on my evo8 everything installed right.. but when I started it up left it running for a while and took around for a spin the car has no turbo power the bov doesn't sound like its working.. any ideas what could be wrong with it.. maybe a tune or reflash..vacuum leak on turbo outlet pipe or wastegate.. I did reuse the old evo 8 coolant and oil lines for it to fit my evo 8.. any help thanks...

 

Turbosmart wastegate actuator you mean??

Did you perform a proper boost leak test once install was completed?

 

And a retune...

 

Definitely sounds like there is a boost leak. Also could be that the waste-gate actuator is opening early. I would check the adjustment.
