Heres exactly what FP recommends for their turbos.. http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...otor%20Oil.pdf

Im personally running VR1 10w30. Not a problem yet. I believe the best is Amsoil Dominator. Has the highest ppm of Zinc (1575ppm) and Phosphorus (1424ppm). VR1 is in the low 1100ppm for both zinc and phosphorus as an example.

The valvoline VR1, are you guys running the synthetic or standard version? I think one is $6/qt .... the other is $12?

I'm using VR1 20-50 on a FP BB RED. This was recommended from JMS in San Antonio. I only use e85. Oil is changed after every track day (monthly).
I have noticed that after the new turbo upgrade and using the VR1 oil my oil temp is up about 10 degrees to 192 on daily drives. Could be the turbo. Prior to the upgrade it was always Mobil 1 5-30
