Tune after cam install
Tune after cam install
Not sure if this is the right thread but..... if install some gsc s2 cams and springs and retainers can I drive for a day or two before getting it tuned or will it effect the car to much
Stay out of boost and dont be surprised if it stalls when you stop. Ive heard you dont need a tune and the evo ecu will compensate but personally i feel safer with a tune when going into boost.

Yes a tune is "required". Can you drive it? Yes. Will it run well? No.
If you have ecuflash and are decent with it. You can do a few things to make it drive ok until you take it in to get tuned.

it is no fun, trust me. The power steering goes out when it stalls and if you are in a turn, say turning into a gas station after slowing down, it might get really interesting when you have to explain to the other driver at the intersection why you smashed into his doorThis happened to me, but I strong armed the car so I didn't hit the other guy; simultaneously soiling my britches
