Going to have to look into the ACD tuning when I have to rebuild mine, sucks I can't get it from them now.

I worked on my kit yesterday and found that I had received two of the o ring bags, but none of the bolts the kit is to come with.

Not a big deal for me as I took my pump apart it was essentially in brand new condition. I didn't need any of the kit but installed it anyway. Now, no pressure at all, so I went backwards. Uuhhhggg

Kiki, do you know if there is any method for support that should be happening and how, who. I guess I just need help seeing if I put it back together properly and if there are any common mistakes. I currently think my solenoid is no longer working, so I am trying to find a replacement or spare I can borrow to see if that is the issue.

acd never answered my emails or phone calls. im still trying to get a hold of kiki to see if he can get ahold of them for me. but other than that ive filed claim with the bank to atleast get my money back its been months now and only thing i keep getting told is that its gonna shipped this week.

 

Kikiturbo, I sent my acd pump to to Matt at ACD Tuning in mid November. I also had a $400 replacement electric motor sent directly to there from Kompus of Canada. Matt was communicating with me via email as he rebuilt my pump. When he was about to be done, I never heard from him again. He doesn't answer his phone or email and I haven't heard anything from anyone. No here we are mid February. Can you or anyone tell me where my pump is and what the status of it is?

 

I had the exact same experience, I sent mid November, and he spoke to up till the point of him "finishing the pump" never heard from him again. PM me if u get any updates I will do the same

 

Did your electric motor fail too when the pump was finished being rebuilt and he went to test it?

 

I stopped getting responses right whe he claims he was gonna start putting it back together. If he said that I would have probably paid more money like an idiot.. Did u file a dispute yet?

 

I wouldn't even know who to file with. I sent my pump to Matt at ACD Tuning and haven't paid him anything yet because he stopped replying to emails but he has kept it. Now I did pay Kompus with PayPal on December 11th for the replacement electric motor. I had it shipped straight from Kompus to ACD Tuning. Maybe I can get file a claim through PayPal for that $425?

 

unfortunately i paid cause he said it would b done that next week so i figured id pay so there would b any delay of him waiting for money. U can file dispute with kompus but itll be complicated for kompus cause im sure he prolly sent it and matts the one bs'ing. so i not sure how itll go but atleast it will force matt to be contacted

 

Can a Mod move this to dispute section and possibly make acd_tuning aware of this thread because he keeps logging on and not answering PM's

 

Motor has been delivered and signed for where you requested delivery. If you have problem with somebody you should resolve issues with them since you started with them. Moderator should help you too if somebody is taking $ for nothing than they should even block/delete accounts , no offense to anybody but this is not fair to people and this community.

 

Yeah it's really not fair, I been driving around with no pump idk if my diff is getting damaged or not because everyone said not to do that but since I thought I would get pump back within a week I risked it

 

will try to check with ACD tuning what is going on. Unfortunately, I can only help you with rebuild kits, I had nothing to do with the rebuilds they did, apart from supplying parts of course..
