Trying to determine if the following is a good alternative for the expensive OEM version for my 2005 evo 8:
Possible numbers: OE NO.:MD628318 MD628319 1450A069 AC254 AC4157
2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse Idle Air Control Valve Actuator #AC571 MD628318
2000-2005Mitsubishi Eclipse Idle Air Control Valve Actuator #AC571 MD628318 : Amazon.com : Automotive
If not, please advise which direction i should go. Mine has never been serviced or replaced. 150k miles.
Thanks

boom.
boom.
This thread is a bit dead but I'm currently looking at the same exact part. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm success with this particular part after installation to resolve IACV issues while avoiding the crazy crazy OEM prices?
No, it doesn't work. I have tried it. I have a galant with a boomba TB, and I needed to get an evo IAC as it would not idle worth a crap, kept bouncing up and down, wouldn't hold a stable idle. and then with the a/c on, forget it lol

Status update:
I figured buying a new ebay one for $21 was better than trying to find a used oem one for $50 that could go bad at any time too! I went ahead and ordered this IACV from the recommended ebay seller below:

So far it seems to be working, but my car is not fully tuned. My car starts and idles at this point. When my evo is fully running and tuned to the full horsepower, I will update my findings with this IACV!
Thanks!
