TB porting - how to?

Hey guys. I have a plan to do porting for my stock TB and I have few questions:

-is it worth with non- ported intake mani?
-what gains should I expect?
-will I have some idle problems? How can I prevent for it?
-can I expect a better spool?
-what else should I do btw?

Thanks!

There's no point of porting a TB without porting your IM. Do both and expect better performance. If done properly you can see gains up to 20/20 or something like that.

You shouldn't have any idles issues whatsoever.

Spool may come in earlier or remain the same, but it shouldn't be later than it was before porting.

That's a very vague question. What else should you do in respect to what exactly? If you're speaking of power then please enlighten us with your goals in order for that question to be answered.

I reached my goals already. I just have one free tb and wanted to know what can I do when I will be changing my tb. But if it doesn't make sense without porting im, I will buy one and port both.

Read up on some proting literature because you can definitely do more harm than good if you don't get the taper and polish just right.

Also make sure and be patient with it since you can't easily replace the metal you remove if you get in a rush.

Porting the Tb will do nothing. Now if your saying you want to bore it 65mm that'll help but you need a new throttle plate.

Yes, I meant that, not just porting. I can make it by myself

go with a 65mm upgrade to see gains, and you want to port the IM to 65mm as well or else the air will hit the lip on the manifold.

Any gains to be had with porting the IM & getting the 75mm TB? Would you lose low end, but gain mid & top end?

I don't know if you can port the stock IM to 75mm, but the result would lead to low end loss and mid/top gain.
