full turbo/back exhaust and a good filter kit, maybe you will have 20 or $30 left for stickers

Good 3in turbo back and EM for starters. Meny flashes on the markect but I like the easy of just doing my mods and zapping my own EM unit. I run the Xede and love it.

Do you think it is better to get a full 3 inch turbo back exhaust system before getting gauges or should I first get some nice gauges for monitoring purposes?

Get a MBC, boost gauge, and dynoflash, and put the rest of the money in savings.

3" turboback Mandrel bent (15-30hp).. MBC (5-15hp) and SAFCII (5-15hp)... you're looking at about 240-255 hp at the wheel from 180 hp. Depends on how to tune your MBC.. u may be able to get a bit more... but with stock pipes, most likely your optimum boost will be about 1.25-1.30 bar...

Remember that you MUST tune it on a dyno because you dont have a Boost gauge (NEXT on your wishlist). Set the boost a little low to about 1.25 to compensate for different atmospheric conditions.. u dont want to overboost too often.

Those are very conservative numbers for those parts, many people are putting down way more power than 240-255 with those parts.

depends if you want to keep your warranty or not.

if you do then go with a catback system ($600) tuner flash ($200-600) and a nice boost gauge ($100) there and you still have your warranty.

Turbo back, profec bII, and dynoflash. You might need to get a boost controller to fine tune the boost. I did it with my profec b II and it's not fun. Those mods are the best mods for the bucks. Peace...

1. Boost Gauge $90 (autometer with pod from Buschur racing)
2. MBC $75 (Buschur)
3. HKS Hi Power catback exhaust ($511) Boost Solutions
http://www.hksusa.com (listen to exhuast)
4. Utimate racing downpipe ($360)
5. Utimate racing High flow cat ($160)
6. Dynoflash with fuel pump ($299) Nino's

$1495 with you installing the parts. I would ask any local evo's for help.

You will have 300HP to the wheels at 21PSI and 12 second car not bad for $1500.
