if u get a gtx3576r, you wont need cams to make 450 whp.

S2's are a great choice for any medium sized stock housing turbo

 

I have driven 2 Evo's with BBK Full, neither one were impressive at all. They both made around 380whp on pump. If you want 450whp on pump get an FP Black or FP Red. Or you could get a 9 turbo and upgrade to a 20G compressor wheel and SL2 turbine. Could make 400whp with that combo, not sure about 450whp. Well at least on 93oct. E85 have made 500+ on that turbo at 30psi

 

^^ but still, i bet those 2 you drove would probably make a great DD car with quick spool and plenty power. as far as a highway monster, probably not like the red or black or larger.

 

You would be correct, both were daily drivers and very responsive. Just did not pack the punch that my Black does. Would be a great turbo for autox

 

I've been running fp red with 264 cams and made 420 on 24/25 psi. If your aiming for 450 I would say fp red with bigger cams. I drive the car daily and love the setup.
