I have only the soft spring with the threads in about half way. However, there is about a .5 turn in the spring sweet spot for the BOV. If you're .5 turn one way or the other, the car will either stall, or compressor surge, or stumble on slight throttle lifts, or idle at 1500rpm, or shoot raw fuel on gear shifts.

Best to do 1 to 2 turn adjustments to get rid compressor surge and stumble at throttle lift, then fine tune with .5 turns for the other problems. When you get close, thats when it'll start shooting raw fuel after a few hard WOT runs. You'll know when this happens since the back of your car will seem like it caught on fire when you shift at redline.

I'll have to go home and count the threads tonight for you...

I have aftermarket IC pipes, so I'm not sure if that'll make a difference. I'm guessing I may be able to get you close, but you'll still have to fine tune for your car, your valve, and your boost levels.

it's screwed in more than I thought. 4 threads remain ontop of the nut.

Of course, your setup may need something different.

umm.. that is why I initially posted the methodology on how to "tune" it to your car. Reread my posts and you'll see multiple references to how you should tune it to your car, instead of go with someone else's setup that may not be remotely similar to yours and half way around the world.
