Pipe with hole in it

Hi EvoM.

Last time i posted a thread here i got great response so i though i might as well ask here again, favorite forum btw.

I had a look into my engine compartment and i saw a wire/tube which has a hole in it, i thought that cant be good.

Anyone who knows what this one is for? its located under the BOV close to the turbo.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Br Henrik

Thanks for your reply bhsj13z

My boost is a bit wierd i think, 17-20 psi feels the same, this pipe is 1cm in diameter so its not the wastegate boost pipe but not sure if there is a bigger one from the wastegate.

It just seems wierd that there is a hole that big in the pipe.

Photo of what is connected to on both sides would be helpful. That photo above gives me no context.

Hi Razorlab.

Point taken, its a bit hard to see what its commected too hence the thread, thought it might be a simple answer (one kind of a pipe)

I will try take a few pictures asap, btw is any of the pipes supossed to have a hole in it?

None should have a hole.

If nothing is leaking out of it, it is likely to be to your wastegate or from your turbo compressor outlet.

Its hard to tell but it looks like the line going from your compressor outlet to the boost solenoid.
