Can I mix MT90 with MTL??

hi guys, i have a JDM evo 9, I just replace my transmission fluid with 3 quart redline mt90, and I'm getting notchy and grinding shift when car is cold, now can I drain 1Quart of MT90 out and put back 1L MTL fluid in (did some research that's how you fix the notchy and grinding with full mt90 in the transmission)? Car have done about 100km after replace the mt90.

If you read the bottles it says that mixing the two will melt metal.

LOL.

They're fine to mix. Redline also makes an MT75w85 now so you don't have to bother with mixing MTL and MT90.

I've ran almost nothing but a MT90/MTL mix in all my DSMs. Mitsubishi transmissions seem to take well to it, yeah you'll be more than good to mix them.

ok thx, so is it fine can I just drain out 1 quart of MT90 and put back 1 quart of MTL back in? Because I don't want to waste the MT90 is already in the transmission.

i would use the Diaqueen made for the 6spd. Mitsu recommended. I've been using it for 11 years with no notchy gears on my 05 MR.

Just saying.
