Still wrong.

That's why it's called "Insulation breakdown".

So you've got even less of an idea than no idea at all.

Yes the Mitsubishi engineers got it right with the wasted spark and COP is a downgrade.

"Impedance"is an AC measurement associated with a running coil. It changes with frequency.

A multimeter can't measure impedance, only resistance, voltage, current etc.

"Impedance extends the concept of resistance to AC circuits, and possesses both magnitude and phase, unlike resistance, which has only magnitude. When a circuit is driven with direct current (DC), there is no distinction between impedance and resistance; the latter can be thought of as impedance with zero phase angle."

Solved the problem, It was a faulty Cam sensor

Got a used sensor from a junkyard, and it worked perfectly for around two weeks, now it is starting to do it again, same problem.

What could be making the cam sensor go bad?

What exhaust manifold do you have?
If its a tubular manifold, do you have a heat shield over the sensor?
Have you tried a new OEM sensor?

I'm presently struggling with a misfire / cylinder shut-down as well, (link below)... How / why did you come to the conclusion it is your cam sensor? Do you have a diagnostic code or trial and error? If the problem is still coming and going since you replaced that sensor that might not be your problem... Have you done a compression test?
