I got an evo 8 that was tuned by previous owner at a shop up in NY

i want to turn up the boost the currently has a grimmspeed ebcs and I
wanna run a manual controller . Can I do this with out any problems
or will it be an issue since it’s tuned with the grimmspeed

the car is currently 13-14 psi no boost leaks or any other problems
the afr is good as well car is running great

current mods

-255 pump
-ets lower pipping and intake
-cop setup
-down pipe
-o2 hood dump
-exhaust
- grimmspeed ebcs

Stock boost for evo 8 is around 19psi, should be fine to turn it up

 

You should be able to push 22 psi on pump.
You can just raise it with mbc but might as well use the ebc.

Your gonna have to reflash the tune likely to add fuel or timing.
