Curious since I’ll already be in there. Would it be best to replace the monoloc and clutch fork as well, or best to just replace TOB and add a clutch fork stopper? I just don’t want this to keep happening

OEM TOB and the monoloc are suppose to be the best things to prevent this. (which you obviously already had in place)

Curious, did you try to pull the clutch for back towards the driver side of car and see if the TOB would snap back in place?

I tried. I put a big breaker bar onto it and tried to leverage it towards the drive side. It kept pushing back over as soon as it let go. I tried for a good ten minutes. The clutch pedal is still stiff as hell and won’t let me press down on it more than a half inch at most. The shifter still freely shifts 1,2,3,4, but 5 and 6 are locked out completely. Still appears to let me into reverse (again, pedal is fully up during this).

I always wondered...if we put the Monoloc on...then the trans ....and then snap the TOB in....when it pops out...why can't we just snap of back in? 😂

When the car is off, you should be able to go through all gears without the clutch.
Pedal should be to the floor, so weird that its super stiff.
Something else is going on, I think. Hard to guess via internet clues, though..hopefully someone can chime in with ideas.

In OP's instance its look like the TOB pulled apart. Which is why it won't just snap back in. The tob is still in the monoloc lol

Yeah, the most unfortunate of unfortunate circumstances. I've never seen an OEM TOB fall apart before (been lucky, so far). Not fun.

What’s driving me nuts is WHEN it happened. I had just started the car, let it warm up, and simple was going in reverse down my driveway. Not banging through gears or being crazy. Probably the best place it could happen but still. Must have been failing and on it’s last legs.
Hopefully have some time to pull the tranny in the next few weeks. I’ll keep updating and post photos of the inside.

Just wanted to updated anyone that cared:

We dropped the tranny, and the TOB was completely destroyed. I apologize, I didn't have my phone at the time and didn't get any photos of it, but the top part (the larger, T shaped TOP of the TOB) was seized completely against the Monoloc color. We the bottom part was almost completely separated.
I wish I had photos, but we swapped it out with a brand new OEM TOB.
Clutch looked to be in decent shape (maybe 50% worn) so I opted NOT to replace this time, but will probably replace around 120K when I do the timing service.

I did also install a new STM clutch fork stopper as well, hoping that might prevent this from happening again in the future!

Congrats, dude! I have to admit I'm lazy and would have swapped the clutch disc so I wouldn't have to pull that sucker back off for a looooong time. In fact, I did with this last R&R. Clutch looked almost new, but swapped anyway. iLazy
