Help! Evo is making loud whine while turning

Ok my car has 4000 miles on it and I just had the following installed:

HKS 272/272
APS DP & Catless midsection
Greddy Titanium Catback
Super AFC2
Hallman Boost controler
Defi Boost gauge
HKS turbo timer
Bushur Intake
Bushur Intake pipe

After driving it around for a while I noticed a very loud whine anytime I turn the wheel slightly. I already checked my fluid and it is fine. The car has never been to the track and has only seen 4 launches from a stop.

Is there anything while installing these parts that could cause this noise to occur? Anybody else have this same problem? I did a search and came up with very little. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

You said you check your fluid??? What fluid are you talking about. If you checked you P/S fluid and it's full... It might be the transfer case. good luck

yes p/s is what I checked. Is the whine while only turning an indication that transfer case could be going bad?

ok I double checked the p/s fluid this morning and added some fluid which it took so I guess it was a little low. I tell you what though, I didn't sleep at all last night I was so worried about this. Thank God thats all it was. John

That sounds like a powersteering pump going bad. How many miles do you have on the car?

4000 miles, but all is good now. I guess when they were putting in the cams they removed a hose from the p/s fluid tank
and some did leak out, they just thought it wasn't enough to make a difference.
