Coolant leak

Hi guys,

I noticed some coolant under my car and on gearbox case. After brief check I can tell it is definitely not coming from radiator itself but from some kind of sensor pined into thermostat. As you can see in the images below it is green from my Prestone cooland fluid. I think it can be coolant temperature sensor? Is it common for it to leak?

Can anyone post a photo of their coolant sensor? I want to see how far this screw should go into thermostat housing. I feel resistance and I don't want to turn it to far. Maybe mine is just not tightened enough and that's why it leaks.

Autozone rents a coolant pressure tester for free. When the car is cool just pressurize the system to 15psi and you will see the leak.

Yes, I forgot to post it. The problem wasn't the sensor. Coolant was leaking from the pipe straight above because clamp was loose. Thats why sensor was wet I just tighten it up and this solved the problem.
