dude...due some research...this engine in this car is STRONG. Many tuners, Al, AMS, and a few others tested the limits of the bottom ends of this 4G63. AMS, got 551awhp on stock block running their GT35R kit that they sell. Have some confidence in our cars

testing the limits of the car or a few runs or even for a few months isn't going to prove to me that the engine is strong. i know it is strong, it's in wrc and it holds time attack records among other records in japan and in other parts of the world. but i can safely tell you that those cars (which are driven like they are stolen) have built bottoms. why did vishnu detune their car countless times in their one lap around america? cuz they don't want to blow something or overheat something. i'm not talking about dyno queens making 30 psi for a few runs. i'm talkin' about surviving a whole drag season, surviving a whole one lap around a crazy course, or one lap all the way around america (so to speak).

pushing your car in serious driving requires a bit of security tuning in mind and that's all i'm talking about. if i were to road race a 551 hp stock bottom end 4g63 i wouldn't have that kinda assurance.

Most of us guys dont rely do all that crap you listed there anyways. Just nice to have some hp for the streets!!!!
Also stop getting off topic guys, this is about the ATP turbo kit and not how strong the 4G63 is.

Rumor has it the bottom end will withstand 700hp...

BTW
Vishnu has almost 30k very torturing miles on the STOCK bottom end w/ no problems at al on their shop car.
Those miles include One Lap, Car and Driver Shootout and over 4,000 dyno pulls. F.Y.I.

Yes, ask them. The motor you are referring to is another motor (built block, head, etc,.) we had built for us (for the SCC EVO orgy). It failed within days due to headgasket sealing issues. We reverted back to the orginal block (while keeping the ported head) a loong time ago and never regretted it. The only upgrades we did on the block was rod bolts and head studs. It's served us remarkably well. Compression and leakdown are still virtually perfect.
