Incidentially, I learned what exactly was causing this problem in the first place.
It was the cam angle sensor. It was programmed to be a bit too sensitive. So sensitive in fact that it was 'feeling' the harmonics eminating from the drivetrain. So in certain conditions the cam angle sensor would sense these harmonics and think that the engine is knocking, when it was not really knocking. This would set the ecu into 'engine preservation mode' cutting fuel and timing until the condition cleared up.....hence the engine stuttering we would experience.

I believe the billing code is the -stock- number for this repair. I believe they should be able to key it into their terminals and see that this repair now exists.

The Random Misfire 0300 issue turns on the check engine light and in certain conditions makes the car buck and stutter until you let off the throttle.

OK...this might be off topic or related...you tell me.. When my car is at the strip and I am line and one of those rumbling muscle cars comes beside or in front of me the rumbling all but stalls my engine!!
This past weekend, a huge Harley was in from of me at a stoplight...the light turned green and the Harley guy stepped on the gas...a huge rumble came out of his exhaust...and COMPLETELY stalled my car!!!
I've never thrown a CEL and do have a dynoflash...any ideas?
