There's a "Cooling system" thread just started by Bishiboy about this stuff so we can stay on topic here.. What was the topic again? LOL

Anyway, My new housing has not shown up yet.. so I cannot take pictures or comparisons or lay my calipers all over it..

I'm also interested in FP's larger turbine housing. Doesn't the MR have a dual solenoid wastegate as well to accelerate spool-up?

Wow, this sounds nice. So a overseas titanium turbo with the FP housing on one side makes this the equivalent of the MR Turbo with the addition of the titanium material on the cold side, right?

This turbine housing looks a little different than an MR housing, the wastegate flapper looks like the older design. the MR housing also looks to have a different shape for an O2 housing so that may also be different.. I haven't seen an MR turbo complete, so I don't know if it has a dual actuator.. Unless your referring to a possible "Dual boost control solenoid" but I don't know that either because I haven't seen one up close.

Basically I suppose that is true.. I know that the MR turbo and other components had some other revisions.. Surprisingly the Titanium wasn't in the MR turbo's mix..

I have seen a lot of castings, 3 out of 10 look really rough.
