AFPR Noise
AFPR Noise
I have just installed the Aeromotive AFPR with braided lines and AN fittings.
It works great so far, but it seems to be oscillatiing quite quickly which I believe is creating a noise that sounds like a loud buzz. It's loud enough that I can hear it on idle but quiet enough that I can't hear it when on throttle. Also, it makes an even louder buzz for a split second when I give throttle from a stop.
Is this normal?

Definately sure.
The pump never made a noise.
The noise started when I put in the AFPR.
Plus the noise is coming from the front in the location on the firewall that the AFPR is located.
The pump is at the back, and there is no noise back there.

Ok, just double checking
You don't think it's just the fuel running through the lines do you? I don't know how the FPRs work, but i'd imagine that there is a vavle limiting fuel. Maybe it's just the noise of the fuel passing through?
lol I dunno what I'm talking about... I guess I'm just brainstorming.
