clutch bleed problem

Hey guys, I just installed my SS line and I'm trying to bleed the clutch and I've been pumping it forever and ever for more than 2 hours and its still just spitting fluid into the tube, and spitting a lotta air outta it. Did I do something wrong? I'm pretty sure I hooked all the hoses really tight. Remember, I've been screwing the bleeder in, pumping, bleeder out, bleeder in, pumping, bleeder out, etc... for more than two hours and its still just spitting at me. Help please!

i've done a couple of these on evo.its a 2 man with the stock bleeder, and a 1 man with the speed bleeder.the first time i did it,i was pumping for an hour, and it wasn't working right.reason for it taking that long was because i didn't keep the fluid filled .i have about 4 under my belt now with no probs doing it.

Happen to me too. The damn reservoir looked full and I pumped for hours. Just need to fill the reservoir above the full line and it will fill the clutch side.

Slightly off-topic, but speaking of speed bleeders ... I've got the spec. for the Brembos, but what is the spec. for the clutch speed bleeder?

Thx,

jcnel.

Make sure you top off the reservior after each cycle. You'll be suprised how fast it drains. Its a really small tank.

Check the brake fluid reservoir, right before the hose where the fluid goes to the smaller reservoir. That thing will look full but there is a air pocket that develops in the larger reservoir but it looks full. Have someone pump the peddle while you poor fluid. Then you should have no problem.
