All I can say is that this will make great case law!! I REALLY want to see the outcome of this!! Dude, don't give up man...
I think you are on your way to having this thrown out, remember, many cops and judges don't know ALL the laws on the books, unfortunately you have to educate them, so my advice is to fight it yourself and bringing ALL the laws that apply here into court with you and spelling it out for the judge should help, if your going to the DA, again you may have to show them where you are totally legal here and educate them as well, then they can educate the judge or throw it out themselves, but please fight this! goodluck evo bro!

I have lost all faith in the court system, police departments, etc. In the Bill of Rights, we all have the opportunity to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Where was my liberty in this case? I got the long shaft stuck you know where, without lube. Let me ask all of you, When was the last time you talked with a police offocer and he was there to help you and not the city? This is not democracy, this is communism. Police ARE NOT law-enforcers, they are money collectors for the city. I could go on and on about his all day and I won't. just want to hear from all of you out there.
one, two, three... hey, it really does work!

My response to you, as this IS THE STUPIEST **** I HAVE EVERY HEARD
This is bigger than Mitsubishi. Every car sold in the USA has to be approved. Period. To be sold with the OEM wing means our government said it is legal to have. Otherwise it's Gray market.
Now we have a local government trying to OVERRULE the Federal government.
This is a PATHETIC example of tax-money being wasted and a citizen being HARRASSED. He should SUE. They are wasting his time over something that is 100% LEGAL!
All I know is I've been pulled over in Michigan for speeding AND following too close. No wing ticket. The cop didn't say a word about the car. He reduced my 59/40 to 50/40.....ugh...still 2 points however...hehe...oh well

That's crap. A couple cops were hanging out with us at the Vegas Motor Speedway and they thought the wing looked good on that car, so you just got a cop that was on a power trip. I can't believe that judge upheld that though. I would appeal it and try to go to a higher court.
