whats goin on.... i filled out the papers at the bank about 2 days after i started this thread to get my money back and i haven't seen the cash yet... does anyone know how long this process takes...

is it possible if someone calls there CC and find out where the payments went... name and address that would lead us rite to whoever is taking the money - george or the "real owner"

 

Did you file it with your CC company? A buddy of mine got ripped off on an exhaust and he filed some sort of complaint with his CC company.. it took him around a month to get his money back.

 

I paid for my order with a certified check from my bank, so I was able to get a copy of the cashed check with George's signature on the back and the name Boost Solutions written under his name. There are also a lot of numbers printed on the back by the bank where the check was cashed (account number maybe?). My check was apparently put into an account at Wachovia, but I don't know if it was George's personal account or the company's since I can't just call up Wachovia and ask who that account number belongs to.

I also mentioned in an earlier post that we should all file our complaints with the Georgia attorney general. Here is some contact info I found online:

My lawyer is sending out letters of complaint to the Georgia Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and Gwinnett County Police Department in the next few days. If anyone would like to have their names included in this complaint, please PM, email, or IM me with your name, address, phone number, what you lost (money, parts, engine, etc.) and the amount of what you lost was worth. Like I have said before, the authorities are more likely to take this seriously and investigate if they know how many people have been stolen from and the amount that has been stolen. Please help me out with this guys.

Just in case you guys recognize any of this information...

Regardless of who this E-Tailer is... The site has NO Information on its mailing address anywhere on this site, I generally will not do business with any online shopping site unless their return policies and return address clearly on the site.. They do mention they are located in South Carolina, and some of the content text does look similar to the Boost solutions code, as does some of the graphical "Cues"

What I do find interesting is the banner at the top of the page is CLEARLY a mitsubishi Evolution engine, on a RED CAR with what appears to be a stock radiator, that HKS turbo seems to be placed on top of the exhaust manifold for photographic display. I am not sure if any of this information is useful.. But I get very frustrated with "Tuners" and the realities of the business..

Another thought.. Look at the registration date of this new domain name, and look at the date that this member placed his order (3 weeks before this first post) Both would have been in early september...

 

Very good info Malibu Jack, it's interesting also to notice that Anderson, SC is less than 100 miles North of Busted Solutions last know address...... As far as I know, Busted Solutions never went bankrupt. I think they just vanished into thin air (with people's money, parts, etc.).... Anyway, if George is doing business elsewhere, I seriously doubt that it will be even remotely legit. I mean, how in hell is he gonna get credit?

Well, the info has to be a legit mailing address, but it doesn't mean its the owners address..

What is interesting is that its an Evo graphic, but tailored to the Nissan market, yet its name is BoostEvolution?

The fact that its name is similar, it contains the name Evolution, the image on its banner is an evolution, its supposed mailing address is not far from the original location of boost solutions, is enough to make me at least suspicious.

ALSO this new domain name was registered within 2 weeks of a huge firestorm of complaints is also suspicious..

 

I tried calling the number (answering machine with electronic voice) and writing an e-mail (no reply). I live 20 minutes away and this address is not to far off my way home from work. I'll drive by there this afternoon. If you're reading this George, just wave when I come by...
