I sell Mitsu's and I have written all of the concrete specs known to dealers at this time. You can check them out in this forum under "dealer knowledge"
By the way, the "Recaro Package" is not one of the four model variations that we know of.
I would ask for clarification if this is what your dealer told you.

Also, I forgot to mention...
I've read a number of threads by guys who have reserved the first Evo and so on.
I have not taken deposits yet, but I do have a list of potential buyers that is two pages long (here in Chicagoland, everyone and their mom has an Evo hard-on)
Most of the people on the list are young guys 18-22 who will be invited out when we are able to sell these cars, only to find out that they cannot be approved.
MMCA is extremely picky about approving financing as it is, and most young people have little to no credit...and will be pissed when their non-refundable deposits become dealer property.
Word to the wise:
1) Don't give a dealer your money unless you are given a solid price (should be avail. by mid-December)
2) Make sure that you can get approved if you plan on financing the car (your dealer should be more than happy to run your credit history)
3) Although there is no info available to insurance companies on these cars, have them give you a quote on an equally powerful car. (You may end up with an insurance payment that is as high as your car payment)
Good luck guys. Let me know if you are interested in the Evo, I may be able to help you get one.
