Quad turbo, actually. And I never said it was N/A. 160 is really good no matter how you slice it.

So that makes 125HP/L not the U.S S2000

By the way, Subaru Impreza S202 was rated highest torque for 2.0L engine.
The new standard JDM STi makes just a tad more torque than the S202, I believe. I may be wrong - they are very close now for certain.

Anyways, the Evo will have perhaps the highest hp/l for at least a month or more in the Northern Hemisphere. There are lots of cars in Europe and Asia that produced more than that.
What's coming out "a month or more" after the Evo that will have higher hp/l? Just curious.

As far as I know, this car was simply an American wet dream.

The STi may have equal or higher hp. It may not - the specs are not finalized.

I guess that should have been obvious. Let's just say I was smoking crack when I asked that question and let's forget about it.

Motorcycle engines have different emissions rules (no need for a catalytic converter, very unrestrictive exhaust, etc), and generate those high HP figures at insane RPMs (very little torque). Of course, since they weigh <1000 lbs with rider, there is no need for gobs of torque.

So, if we're not counting the rotary, we're not counting bikes

Listen, it doesn't take any serious work to make the 4G63 kill everything on the road.. I have a daily driven 93 GSX with 142,000 miles that runs consistant 12 sec quarters with completely stock internals... Now that's a bad *** engine people....

Not to annoy people here with motorcycle chatter, but what exactly is the CBR600F4i? The CBR600F4 (without the i on the end) is like 95+hp at the fly. Just curious about the i?
