How Island Jeep/mitsubishi SCREWED Me
To void your warranty, they have to submit something to you in writing. They can't just say "sorry, its voided". Contact a lemon law lawyer about it and see what he/she can do. They usually work for free unless you win a ton of money.

I dont want to lemon law the car because it would cost me a ton of $ and time to get everything I have taken off. The front mount, tv deck, alarm with remote start and pager, etc.. too much of a headache. i'd rather make the dealer lose money and enjoy my car in the mean time. I dont want to lay out 1000$ to make the car stock and then drive a stock evo around for the next 3 months while i fight lemon law.

The work was for under 3,000 so go ahead and file in small claims court against the dealership in small claims court. It should cost you minimal to file. Bring all
your paperwork and sue for negligence in damaging your car. Once you win that then present that info to the Mitsubishi rep to take your car Vin off the list.
Take them to small claims for multiple instances.

Steve, I know you'll probably freak out when I say this...
...but the rules of the game are as follows.
You modify your car, you void your warrenty.
Downpipe, FMIC, Clutch/Flywheel.
That's three big strikes... especially if the dealer knows about it.
Additionally, I don't know why you had the dealer put an aftermarket clutch in your car - let alone touch it - but that's your business.
...okey, waiting for the flamage...

listen goldilox. i talked to them ahead of time and they were "cool" with the mods. They ****ed my car up. I dont wanna hear any excuses. I know dealerships suck but thats no excuse. I offered them a deal in which they could give gary (mitsubishigraveyard.com) the tranny and i'd pay him the labor and they would cover whatever parts he needed. fu ck them

Dude, I'm really sorry to hear that. U cant let them get away with that crap, u definitely gotta sue or protest or something. I cant believe that they installed all ur mods for u, and then as soon as they screw up, suddenly its ur fault. U should even contact the BBB (better business bureau) and see what they can do for u. Good luck man and i hope that u get this whole thing figured out! -Ryne
Intresting you should find out if the tech was even certified to work on your evo. Cuz my friend says the test for working on the evo arent a walk in the park and only a few people pass it. He is the only one here in my town that is certified to work on the 05's I have the manual and test for the 05's and man its a lot of changes and stuff compared to previous models.
