Driving with 6 adults in the car will void your warranty, it wasn't built for that either.

Thanks for the help guys. Im now looking around for another dealer, im trying not to take any chance's on this one because ive heard some horror stories. I cant believe the problems their giving me about this, luckily i havent modded my car...yet.

On the side not, i love my evo just as much as the z06. I live up in chicago (as you know) and the z just wasnt cutting it in the winter. I had a winter car but i ended up haveing to get rid of it. So i decided to save some money by selling the vette and buying an evo. The evo is lacking in the power deparment...my z had 422whp and 398tq, but i do like haveing traction all the time! Arne (from automotosports) is a friend of mine and has been bugging me to "cross over" for at least 2 years now.
Back on subject. If anyone does know of a dealership with some "nicer" people working there i would really appreciate talking to you about your experience.
Thanks again guys
Jeff

Angry

yea if anyone in chicagoland area knows "good" service dealer let us both know. i live in the melrose park area but im in schaumburg all the time (work at carmax) and I like my warranty (hope I never had to use it though) but I too fear that if I ever have to take it in for service im going to get the walk around. God I hate dealer service departments! Try to make up anything to get out of repairing cars under warranty.

Trust me I was going that route. Car got to boring. Look at my mods, they are healthy mods, and will have no effect on reliability. Look at the FQ-series over in europe. They come with a few mods stock.

Try Libertyville Mitsu, its where I bought my car, and they seem pretty cool with mods...I know at least one of the salesman has one, otherwise, its a bit of a drive, but I bet Renner up near Milwaukee wouldn't have a problem with an exhaust and springs.

Yep, car just dont feel like it did the first week, gets boring. Modding the car feels like driving an escort for a couple days, then getting back in the evo.

I take my car there, and they stated on my service invoice that I had an aftermarket boost gauge and DROP IN filter. I don't consider them mod friendly, but I do consider the staff friendly

Later on

Oh yeah, I'm a student in the area...eventhough my sig says I'm from IN.
