Evo vs Girlfriend
i just saw this on turbotrix and thought it was kinda funny
*Last year's event had a pretty impressive turnout, but, there were very few Evo's lining up to race. Unless the parking lot is the staging lane this year, everyone with anything done to their Evo should be there showing everyone how amazing the Evo really is. Don't be scared! Prizes are awarded for heads up and bracket winners and believe us, they are definately worth racing for! EVERYONE should run that Saturday. Tell your Mom and Dad you won't be home for dinner, break up with your girl, skip your court date for street racing, JUST BE THERE! *

Break up with her...if you even have to think about which is more important, her or ur car, then obviosuly she isnt the girl for you. Sounds like you still have some growing up to do before you get into a real serious relationship.

Wow wow wow....what have this forum become....???
A Tom Leykis Show...?? But I'm lovin it....
this is getting so good I have to be a part of the it......
Okay, here's my story..."okay, me and my goat have been going out for like 2 years now....but I just bought an EVO recently....and I have saved up some money ~1g to spend either on modding the EVO or go to the prom with my goat....but then I know I can't take my goat to college since most dorm wouldn't allow it. So, I am in a pickle....
....should I dump my goat and eat it? so that I can spend the $ on a HKS Ti-Cat back (~10-15hp).......but you know I just don't have the heart to...coz it never complains or has a headache...
...and never ask me to buy things....take it out to the movies....heck i don't even have to feed it.....all I have to do it is just to leave it out on someone's house front lawn and I can even make some $ for lawn mowing and save up for that Ralliart sticker (~30-40whp) I am so dying for..
..what should I do guys??..
.."
Okay dude forget about what all these goons said coz they have on idea what they are talking about..
.....just listen to me
.....what you need is a goat that won't ask anything from you and would still fulfil your needs.
Just like this guy said...

Lets put it this way, how would you feel if your girlfriend of two years started to hang out with an ex-boy friend. She spent all her time a money on him, and thought to herself, "should I blow all my money on my Ex and not worry about my boyfriend birthday?". I think we should all realize that even though as manly as we want to make ourselves out to be, it still feels nice that someone would take the time to get you something for your birthday, or any other event.
I think that you should just be patient with your car and treat your girlfriend with a little more respect. There is obviously something between you guys if you have lasted for tow years. I think you should take her to the prom and give her what she wants, because even though these “events” do not mean a lot to us guys, it does for them. Wait till summer to worry about your car. You need to sometimes think of other peoples feelings before putting yourself first.
So,
Get your girlfriend an anniversary gift; it doesn’t have to be anything fancy.
Take her to the damn prom,
And buy her something nice for her birthday.

Being a chick and reading this, all I can say is thank you. Spend a little on her, the rest on the car. That's what I do with my BF. It's the little things that count, and if she really cared about you, she would understand how much you love your car too. Unless she is a gold digger, I am sure she would feel a little guilty if you spend a G on her. I know I would.
We all know about the love triangle...Owner, sig other and Evo. But all in all, it's your decision what you want to do.
