Keep in mind you need a job that pays the bills plus the car for 6 YEARS. That's a long time. Two or three months being laid off looking for a job can get your car repossesed. Think about putting a little less down, stashing a few grand for when you might not have a job, paying more per month for 5 years, and buying the Evo 8. Mivec is probably good but the mods that make it great won't be out for a few years. By which time you will be in the market for a new Skyline. Or an Evo 10 with AYC etc.
variable timing
My 2 cents but is'nt the MIVEC variable timing? Wouldn't that increase the troubles of putting in bigger cams/gears? Lemme know if I'm wrong, but 8 hp isn't worth it to me. Late.
