I dont see why you couldnt get the same if not more power out of the sti.. there are more tuners for evo's it seems. But you can get big hp out of a built sti.. just most guys building a drag car arent going to look at it, just cams alone would be twice the cash and alot harder to install etc... 2 heads, 2 head gaskets you get the idea.. Somone had a video of a 900hp subie.. it never made a pass but it did run.. the turbo sat in the front and fed into a water cooled intercooler int he passenger seat. I'm not saying these tuners who ran sucked.. but it seems like someone could do something with the sti or even a wildly build wrx.. whonoes.

Engine is NOT as strong not to mention an Evo has an AMAZING head that flows very well. This only goes for stock bottom ends, I have no idea on built ones.

That's the problem Chucky Sti is harder to tune and will make less WHP before blowing up, handles worse and so on. Damn Tiny turbo can't even hold significant boost and a tiny TMIC that heat soaks I Do think that they look good though, probably better looking then the Evo. But why should you care? I mean it's a free car, you didn't pay for it .


But If you want I'll help ya out and let you win a couple of races against me so you can look good for a day .
