As opposed to...aftermarket glass? Can you elaborate?

 

haha you guys are ridiculous. Most if not all baseball fields will have signs posted saying, cracked windshields are not our responsibility.

I do agree its an ahole move of the father. He shoudl have least pay for it out of the kindness of his black heart.

Id just pay the thing out of your pocket, why go through insurance on such a petty thing? Its the reason most places end up dropping you.


order the part and request a lancer windshield. you'll wind up paying between 200-250 for it. I paid 200 and some change for my lancer windshield and its been fine for over a year now.

 

when my windshield was smashed they replaced it with the cheapest glass they could find that would fit in the EVO(i didn't know at the time untill it was installed on the car)........2 weeks after i got my car back i stone smacked my windshield and cracked it.....when they told me it had to be replaced i told them i wanted OEM glass not some BS local glass shop......OEM front windshield is not cheap i think it is about 900$ when you call a glass repair place they do not use OEM glass....the glass they use is thinner, cheaper, and not as safe

and Lancer windshield is not the same as Evo windshield

 

actually, most baseball fields are "park at your own risk" to be honest. it sucks and i would be pissed, but that has nothing to do with the father and son being responsible for what happened, it's not like they were hitting baseball in an open field and one found the evos windshield, so that was an ignorant statement.
