as many says, you are clueless... so wat if you pull away at top gear from others, thats cuz they are also in top gear... you shoulda downshifted, PERIOD.

oh yeah i beat an srt-4 today and we both downshifted 5th to 4 th beat him buy 4 cars and still pulling.

whoever told u STis were slow boats lied to u, they are neck to neck with the Evo stock VS stock, if u read any of the stats, their times are usually off by about tenth of a second through almost every test.

The real news flash is that Subaru lies about how much HP they have. If you take the stock STi and dyno it on a Dynapak dyno they usually get between 195 and 200 WHP stock. Interestingly an Evo gets 210 to 215 stock. It would explain why a car thats advertised as having 20+ more horses then an Evo runs the same, if not slower, 1/4 and there trap times are always lower. Just marketing..

One thing that always makes me happy is knowing that dollar for dollar the Evo will always be faster with a skilled driver!

Newsflash these cars were modified, and EVOs have been putting down similiars dyno proven numbers, so what the heck are you talking about?
