i absolutely REFUSE to drive my evo to work. Not at night and not that part of town. So call me whatever you wat but i will call in sick before having to drive it there. So some days she sits and i don't have a problem with it. if i worked in a nicer area then it would be different but since its just work anyway who cares what car sits outside getting door dings and jerks bumping into apr mirrors that you just adjusted perfectly and all you get is "oh sorry. their cute though".

the other really nice thing about a slow beater is how fast your evo seems when you do drive it.

about to roll 15k on my 03 total of 18 months. put 5k on in first 3 months and then bought beater.

 

I got 7300 mi. on my 03, It the only commuter's i have. I live about 4 miles from my work so that's like 28 miles every 2 weeks, and I only work 7 days in 2 weeks period. My mileages are low, but the tires are almost totally bald now . So I guess you don't have to have a high mileage on your evo just to have fun .
