Getting rid of stock Airflow sensor/ MAS..

I need a new stock MAS. I knicked the honeycomb piece and now my idle is runnning pretty low. i think the evo piece will work with my reg. lancer. anyone selling would be great

I don't think they are the same. A new lancer MAS is $270.00 a new EVO MAS is $462.00

how bad is the knick, i knicked mine a little bit and i staitend it out with a paper clip and my car runs fine

You can use an allen wrench (I don't remember which size off-hand) to help straighten the honeycomb back out--work it from the good side towards the bad.

what does the honeycomb thing do anyways?... mine got all bent up so i took it out...

Smooths out the airflow for the bluff body (thing hanging down in the air stream). Karmann sensors need non-turbulent airflow. Usually taking out the honeycomb would cause problems and is considered a Bad Idea. But if your car runs fine, then more power to you.

almost 2 years ago my buddy lost mine installing my intake. car runs fine.
