It's so true... It's just much more fun to know you can drive as nutz as you want... have fun... and not worry about tickets at the track. We all have nice cars, spend tons on money on mods for them... but can't flip a few bucks to have good/safe fun at the track?

Every year their will be a new batch of drivers that has to learn this lesson all over. Some will be lucky to survive without experiencing any issues.... others will learn the hard way

ok everyone just still talks ****. and if were not all buddies then wtf. i though we were all Evo owners and were here (at the forum) to help each other and share stories, not to flame and talk ****....also like i said i was not around any traffic and i have been driving way slower since this happened, cuz i did get my one lucky chance. i am also gonna start going to the track cuz the public streets are not a good place to take the Evo to its limits. and last, if you flamed me for driving fast, sit back and really think if you have ever went over a 100 MPH and if you have, F*@$ you

 

I just got pulled over 55 on 30 and NO TICKET!!!!

If i was your friend and you were put in jail for doing double the speed limit - i wouldnt bail you out

 

Sounds like someone doesn't think that you are the safest of drivers if you have "gotten your share of tickets and such" but I am glad to hear that you are going to take your car to the track. That sounds like a good idea.

 

Pulled over for being clocked 50 on a 35. Cop was an A$$ and so was the clerk magistrate. Now gonna see the judge. Filing a complaint on the cop for discrimination for saying "dont come back here if you dont want another ticket" and vehicle profiling.

 

What's with all the hatred with the cops giving you a ticket....as long as you committed the crime, I don't see what's the problem with you getting ticketed for it.

Look at all of the "Holier than thou's" coming out. I bet every one of your cars has seen 100+ on public roads.

100mph isn't that bad, I've personally never done over 110 in any of my cars on a public road. I read about people street racing and hitting 150+MPH. That to me is scary =-)

Dude... slow down, take it to the track (riverside, buttonwillow, Las Vegas, etc)
