I have a boost gauge and apexi tt in my car and it was fine until today it did something weird.
I started the car and the boost needle stayed at 0 it stay there until I shifted to 2nd then it started working again. All the hoses seem to be fine , anyone know why this happend? it happend again the second time I turned on the car, stayed at 0 till i shifted to 2nd then back to normal.
IF anyone knows what causing this please let me know , Share

i have heard of defi d having some problems. i guess that is why its discontinued. how long have you had the gauge for? and is it the d or bf?
its the BF , I have had in for maybe 5months now no problems until now. It still works but just starting to act fishy,
so I take it that is the gauges problem? well THe last time i turned it on it was normal...hopefully itll stay that way , unless someone knows something i dont

what type of defi gauge is it? if electrical i would check your wiring, mechanical i would check for kinks.
itz electrical with control unit, well i started the car this morning and everything was fine, so ill check the wires next time if it ever acts up again

my Defi D gauge does the same thing every once in a while. I'm wondering if its something to do with Humidity or Heat or something.
It's gotta be something in the vacuum line somewhere. I find it unlikely that the Mechanical gauges are mimicing a problem with Electrical ones, and even more unlikely the other way around. The only thing they share is the vacuum lines.
I've checked mine to make sure there are no leaks, and no cracks or anything. So I dunno.
