Question Varis CF B-Pillars

Has anyone added the Varis CF B-Pillars to their Evo? I just got them and they are adhesive which kind of sucks. They send a vile of 3M adhesive starter but they have advesive on the strips as well. I would assume it best works to clean the B-Pillars apply the 3m product to the pillars and then stick them on???

I cant imagine the starter is to be applied to the actual sticky side first? Has anyone used these and had any problems with them pealing off?

u clean it with the 3M adhesive starter. It's basically a base to clean all oil off of it.

1) Test fit it with the red plastic on to get an idea on where to start.
2) Peel the red plastic exposing the adehsive starting from the bottom. Only peel 2-3 inches.
3) Stick in on from the bottom and work ur way up and also removing ur red plastic.
4) Leave it in the sun for a day and make sure it doesnt rain so it adheres good.

Or use a hair dryer to get that stuff working. I got it on ebay for $60 shipped when nobody knew what it was. It was REAL Varis stuff not the ones u see on ebay that says ralliart or says nothing at all

Isn't the focus of having carbon fiber parts to lighten existing parts? I don't understand why you would put carbon fiber OVER something instead of in place of it.

don't clean the pillar with the clear liquid they provide.

Instead, get yourself a decent microfiber towel (something that wont leave dust), and get some rubbing alcohol. Wipe the b pillar down with that, then use the adhesive promoter, and carefully install the varis piece. Be VERY careful, as the 3M + adhesive promoter are very sticky, so removal is difficult. The Varis piece is flexible too, so you can stretch it out a little in case you don't line it up 100% on the first shot

There is no "purpose" to this mod aside from looks...and on the right car, they look awesome IMHO!
