O2 Sensor CEL fix

I was reading up on some of these ideas... anti-foulers and simulators
This was in the HowTo forums:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=56631

In one of the posts someone talks about cutting the wires!?!

I thought that this was bad because the ECU needs some sort of electrical signal from the rear O2 sensor.

Will this work or am I just reading this wrong.

Any clarification on what they are doing with pulling the wires would be helpful also.

www.gruppe-s.com sells the helix mechanical o2 fix. they work wonders. some people get problems with using anti-foulers, some dont. i just opted with the helix because it just doesnt caust any problems and its direct bolt on, so theres no crap u have to mess with.

Tried the anti fouler trick but didnt work for me. I ended up with the gruppe-s fix. For some reason you can only buy it online. Its under the wrx parts and costs 15 dollars. Have had it on for a couple thousand miles and no problems.

I have a Works resonated test pipe. I used the O2 bung in my AMS cat-back for the anti-foulers/O2 sensor.

Anti-foulers for me and they work like a charm. I don't recommend cutting wires for nothing, SES light will definitely come on when it is dealing with emissions.
