yea man... a guy i know has a 4.6 cobra. i spanked him and i was completely stock so the gt's are turds. but damn do they sound good

well lets put it this way from a 60MPH roll I dusted a 2004 Mustang GT w\ Catback exhaust. My mods are HKS Hi-Power exhaust, HKS RS intake Dejon Upper IC pipe and Greddy Type S BOV. So the answer is yes you'd beat him

 

plus I had a stock Cobra 2001 my stock evo is faster.

 

I won't doubt that you dusted a 2004 GT, but the 5spds are significantly faster than the AOD models.

A lot of you guys that are seeing some of these 99+ GTs running 14.40s and higher are probably seeing AOD models. The SLOWEST 99+ GT I've seen run was a convertible, and he ran a 14.80!

The fastest 99+ GT I've seen run has been a 13.80. Mach 1s are significantly faster. I've seen Mach 1s run as quick as 13.30s bone stock.

What really suprises me are the supercharged Cobras. for having 390hp, they really don't run that fast in the 1/4. Maybe the ones I've seen are driven by people that don't know how to drive, but I haven't ever seen one crack 13.10s, but in defense they ARE trapping around 110 mph.

With just a Lightning pulley and exhaust work, a supercharged Cobra can be making upwards of about 420-430hp. They can be brutal.
