High boost on stock 05??

High boost on stock 05??

Ok i recently install my defi bf boost gauge on my nearly stock 05(aps bov, k&n drop in). I set my warning sensor at 1.5 and when im at WOT in some gears, mostly 3rd and 4th it hits peak boost at about 1.5 or a little more. is this normal? thats near what 22 psi stock?

normal... thats why i set my b/c at 19, just in case i get bad gas..

before I got my flash from Al, my car would hold 20-21psi full boost (stock besides a catback)

after I got the flash, it still holds 20-21psi but pulls a good amount stronger

yea i was thinking that maybe the 05s are just boosting a little higher because mitsu wants to make more baseline power each year. thats pretty sick i guess slappin on the mbc soon

the wastegates are better and the bigger hotside help with boost

Mine hits 22 psi bone stock. Maybe even a bit higher actually.
