Just practice on your shifts a little more, You shouldn't be having any problems... if you want take the car into the dealer and ask them to take a look at it...

 

Sorry - I'm joining this discussion a little late, but...

I've had the same problem shifting in my EVO8. For me it has only been into 2nd gear, and yes, at some embarrassing moments (worst of which was during Autocross). Most of the time it has been at higher RPMs, but today it happened at relatively low RPMs. It has been confusing to figure out - I push the clutch to the floor and don't shift too quickly. Have many other members had the same problem?
