You know...I can't even imagine what I'd do if they brought that GT-A crap over...my heart sinks every time I think about it. I wish that would make another press release just so if they are in fact only bringing over the GT-A then I can start saving up for the new Audi S-4.

Re: Grey Market EVO VII - Possible to register?

If it can - we should tell all the USA dealer****s to GO TO HELL (myself included - I have a $500 deposit on a USA EVO VII) and get a Group Deal (the more cars the better)....what do you guys think?

The only problem is us CA guys cannot get a new VII.
There is an import law that prohibits us from getting new imported cars. Got to be a used car with a least 2 years from the original manufactor's date.

No thanks to Mercedes in getting this law passed!!!! :soapbox:

I would be quite interested in a group buy for a fair market and if we know for sure we are not getting the GRS.

I would definatly be interested. At this point probably for race only.
I don't want a GSR though because they are RHD. I am only interested in the RS-2, LHD.

I would be intrested in buying one if he gets it for 4,000,000 yen or less . I've being looking into some importers in Miami myself, who import mostly JDM cars and parts. They have brought over the Civic Type R, JDM ITR and i dunno what else, but they say they are trying used Evo's now. Dunno how they will pull through with this one.
RHD/LHD no matter, I've driven LHD cars in Jamaica and shouldnt have any problem driving RHD in the US.
Also i can drive stick both ways...just a little getting used to it.

Funny thing, when Australia got their Evo 6.5 TME it was around $40,000 US.

plucky, I'm at MSU too. What color is your prelude? I've probably seen your car around. I drive a black e36 M3 and this is my last semester. I plan to get an evo when it comes out so i can beat my bro-in-law's 300+hp WRX.

Hey, It was a black 5th gen prelude you can go to the website below my sig. Its totaled now though, on my way to an auto show some woman cut me off. And her insurance company is giving back my money. So thats why i've being inquiring about an Evo . Living in Jamaica for awhile seeing all those Evos, JDM Type Rs, Skylines just makes u go crazy and wanting to have one. Oh yeah did I forget there was a Fairlady there too . I'm a sophmore at MSU so i gotz lots of time here.

Havnt seen that many M3s around here. Might have seen yours I dunno.

I am, assuming Mitsu gives us the GTA over here. I'd be interested in an RS-2 or a red GSR. Has he said anything about crash or CARB testing?

Let us know what your findings are.
