So i called a mitsu dealer in minneapolis to put a down-payment on an new 9 and he told me that they wouldn't be at the dealer untill sometime in 2006, he also said that he had no idea on cost. I mentioned to him that other dealers were expecting the new evo mid-november and he said that there was no way they could know when they were coming...he said they might be in the states in november (at the docks) but it would take a while for them to reach the dealers. I also told him that pricing was available on the mitsu website and he said that the MSRP would be sure to change once they come out. Does anyone know for sure what the real deal is on the new 9's? And does it matter where the dealership is located....or do they all get the cars at roughly the same time? Any input is appreciated.

 

quit talking to the dumbass saleman at the mitsu dealerships, the only people who know when they are coming in is the gm of the dealerships, they are the main inventory orders and knows what are allocated tothe, they dont tell the sale people because the will confuse people like you and me and everyone else. my guess is the nine will be here pretty soon if there not here already they have to be preped when they get here because we have some ****y emission laws. after that they get split up for dealership shipment. and as we all know cali gets frist dibs before everyone so I believe sometime in november, because the new sti is here, but it was here before the evo 8 was to.

 

i was told by a few dealerships around here (suburbs of chicago) mid november and from what i understand they are in the US right now, my dealership (general manager) said he had already orderd them 3 gg mr and 1 ww? mr (i forgot what color white was) I figure that the trucks carrying them will all drop off within the same week week and a half unless your dealership is trying to thin the stock of 05 but the place i went to had 12 evos on the lot plus the 4 mrs coming in not to mention the IXs thats alot of evos

 

What dealer was it? Did you see any white ones with SSL on the lot?

minneapolis probably wont get an evo 9 until 2006 cause its in minnesota.
west coast, then east coast, get the new evos first

over here, the EVO9 will be released late OCT, early NOV. to help close a huge deficit in this quarter sales that will close in MARCH 2006. (hope to god, theres no recalls like in japan)

 

interesting, my dealer in bel air said she was expecting them 2nd or 3rd week in october. guess we'll find out soon enough.

I was told 10wks and they will have me any trim at 500 above invoice.. including hte MR in any color.

 

I saw one yesterday on a truck leaving my local mitsu dealer. I took a pic with my phone but came out horrible. One thing I can say is the stock split 5 spoke wheels look awesome and the front end is sick.
