Didn't the car go back in time?

I thought that after 130mph the car warps to another dimension.

165mph wow, you shoulda gotten to URANUS.

Well, I know for a fact that at 155 it feels like time is just starting to slow down a bit.

I could not look down at the tach after that.

I am sorry if I am going off topic but I was also caught at 148MPH several years ago racing a few sports bikes. The police car was stationed above a bridge and they had a receiver on their car with a trasnmitter device on the road which would calculate the speed once you passa marking.

I was polite and civilized to nicely pull over, now I regret, I could had easily outrun the cop car by far and disappear from his sight but I did not want to, I had a modded Stealth R/T Twin Turbo.

At the end I lost by license for 8 weeks and pay around $560 and my car was impounded for a few days but botton line is that if you are speeding at that kind of speed it wouldn't matter 140 or 170mph so if you think you have a chance to disappear then do it. It wouldn't get any worst unless it is a real chase with several police cars, helicopters, spikes, etc.

You had a chance to let that police car behind and by law you have to be aknowledged/signaled that you are being pull over( police car behind you with sirens and flashing lights)

At 165mph should have kept going and exited the expressway, cut the lights and pulled in wherever the closest hiding spot was. Or just kept going and get out of the line of sight of the officer because at your speed there is no way he got the liscence. Then by getting out of sight you could have said it was someone else.
Anyways, call around and try to find a lawyer with connections or someone else with connections. At this point you should be happy he wrote 110mph. Search for a good lawyer and good luck.

Ummmmm, I dont think you realize what the terrain is here out in Arizona,.......everything is flat, browm, there are no trees, no hills, every freeway exit is 10 miles apart, and every major town/city is 100 miles away. I have lived in ME, MA, GA, AL, MD, AZ, and spent time in FL, PA, and a few other states, and pretty much once you hit the mid west and DEFINATELY the southwest there is no place to hide.

True and I did not think too much about that(so sorry for a response that is not applicable to this terrain), but where there is a will there is a way.

Shoulda ran, at that speed, it wouldve taken him so long to catch up to you that you wouldve been miles away, and also his car cant go upwards of 120, you would've easily outgunned him. Now that might not be the smartest thing to do, however, at least you couldve escaped arrest and now the trouble.

Don't blame on him Bro.. There are thousands of ***in illegal inmigrant in Tucson driving everyday and they really cost you money.

They drive with no insurance, they drive with no registration, no seatbelts and no driver license at all, then they crash your car and you are ***ed big time and there is NOTHING that we can do about it because at the end of the day we are the fools.

We allow that $hit to happen, we pay their medical bills and we have a $hity insurance system that reports stupidd $hit.

I don't think there is nothing wrong with speeding, I think there is a lot wrong when you are speeding and are drunk and horseplaying and zigzaging other than that there is nothing wrong with speeding for a couple of seconds in a empty road.

The traffic system in this country is the most rotten in the world!!! We will continue to pay the illegal inmigrants bills all their life and we will pay higher interest rates and higher insurance policies becuase we have to admit that we call ourselves number # 1 country but we can stop the inmigration which cause us BILLIONs of dollar every freakin year.

I am not worry about Karma doing 165MPH. I know Karma, he is cool. Believe me, he is not the root of paying more for insurance, there are other worst things that I mentioned.

Do something stupid, you should expect to pay the consequences, it's how life works.

If you were really going 165 and racing a sportbike then you're getting off easy. Don't want it to sound like I'm getting up on my soapbox, it's not like I have never had a speeding ticket, in fact I got in a lot of trouble when I was young and dumb with my DSM. It taught me a lesson, and had I not gotten caught I would have kept doing stupid things and maybe hurt myself or someone else. Seems to me like you need to learn a hard lesson, not find a "loophole".

Damn dude it sucks ***, but you'll get through it - hopefully you do not have a bad history, and they will go easy on you. Just like car tuners, some lawyers are better than others. Find one who is a specialist at these types of violations, hopefully you can get a recommendation if you ask around. Many of us have made it out of such situations OK, you can too. Good luck.

No stupid replies please only solid advice. thx.
