They gave me no email or phone call back to tell me that the clutch/flywheel was out of stock and were looking for someone to get it from. Their supplier finally gave it to them and i will get it 6 weeks after the order. So beware when doing business with gruppe-s they are a poor customer service company.
Sounds like they have a history of this. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

He didntsay anythign about a free test pipe. However, I guess everyone else has their own assumptions. Maybe groupe s also gave him a free 2.3l stroker along with his free walbro 255? Hell they may have even threw in some cf shift knobs too.

Let me ask you this, if this guy wasnt adament about checking his statements and he never caught this mistake I wonder how long group s would have taken to clear up their "honest mistake." Hmm.. maybe you being a moderator have all these answers.

Sorry hate to break it to ya I dont care how you look at it walking out of a store with their merchandise and after they catch you with it and you tell them"oh but I am sorry I didnt know I had these things in my hand" isnt going to go very well with a judge.
This is so nieve on so many levels that only a picture could accurately summarize my reply...

probably what happened is when you called the guy looked on a screen which was not in real time. from when he made the order and when the order got to the person who puts the orders together they might have ran out if they were popular items that you ordered. Be happy they are going to refund the money and even offered something to you. I know somebody who ordered a set of custom heads from a company and then didnt need them. he shipped them back to the company and didnt recieve the money for over 2 mo. and we are talking about a few G's

Hi, guys

I just want to share my bad experience with Gruppe-s, so that cases like this won't happen again with you guys in the future. Here goes my story. About a month ago, I called gruppe-s to place an order for following items; Tanabe downpipe, Helix HFC, Cusco LABs & Shorty Antenna. The sales representative, whom I spoke to, said everything was in stock, ready to be shipped and he was going to send me a confirmation email with shipping information next day. He even told me that I was lucky to get all the items, because those items were low in stock! Then, I waited for 3 days for the confirmation email that he promised me over the phone, still no response from him. So I called gruppe-s to find out what was going on and they told me that except for the HFC, everything else was backordered! At that point, I was really unpleasant with the sales rep's dishonesty about the availability of items and his customer services, so I just canceled the order with them. A week later, I called gruppe-s again to re-order the Helix HFC, since I really wanted to finish off my exhaust components. I received the HFC in about 2 weeks and the HFC was sent with good packaging and looked liked a good product. Guess what happened next??
I just received my credit card statement and found out that Gruppe-s has overcharged me $700 for the items that I canceled (the order) after finding out that items were backordered!!! How could a legitimate business do something like this? What if I didn't go over my credit card statement to match the numbers?
I just called Gruppe-s and they told me that they are going to refund me the money back, but it still bothers me a lot that these guys' business practices are so careless and deceptive. Please be super careful and take extra caution when you guys deal with Gruppe-s! Make sure you go over the credit card statement to match dollar amounts with actual invoices! Thank you for reading.

Sammy

p.s. I was offered a free test pipe or huge discount on next purchases at the cost of not going public with this story, but I decided to forgo the small economic benefit for the sake of this community. (Daniel! I am sorry to put you in a headache, but what you guys have done is simply and plainly wrong and I hope that gruppe-s can learn from this.)

yes yes yes, you now see that he was offered a free test pipe....yep......

man that sucks. i keep hearing more & more about shops doing business bad. i guess this why 9 out of 10 people just leave cars stock. it's either the performance shop, the audio shop, body shop, or the wheel shop. all i can say is buy at your own risk...

or start shopping thru Japanese shops directly. they are very nice to deal with & parts come quick.

A vendor that tries to fix a problem by offering a free part or discount. What is the world coming to?

Looks like the Evo kids are getting home from the bars. The recent replies in this thread and the other thread they just started about Gruppe-S are really juvenile. SKILMATIC's inability to get his point across and his subsequent frustration with all of us somehow turned into a juvenile mission to drag the name of Gruppe-S through the mud. I aplogize Mike. I feel somewhat reponsible for motivating this mental midget. I dunno how you deal with this demographic. It's like dealing with 8 year olds with a credit card and internet access. Hope this is all deleted and/or locked before I wake up. Gnight.

Yeah I know the reaosn why you cant summarize your pathetic replies because you dont have the mental capacity to do so. O wait did I just call him a name? Hmm let me go over this again. NOPE! ok moving on

Maybe when you see that many others have had problems as well instead of burying your head in the mudd like a ostrich you will realize reality and what is going on. I suppose you are in the demographic of apathy. Hopefully someday you will come out of your cave and see whats going on.

You said "gave him free test pipe" when he never gave him anything for free. He was offered it not given. Please get that right.
