Old guys in EVOs
45 here and I don't see what's the big deal
People from other countries knew about this car before it came here.
Alot of the older drivers are from another country
Also the older guys take care of there cars helping the resale value

When my friends found out that I had purchased the Evo in April of '03 they asked me if it was a "little early for a mid-life crisis." (I was 32 at the time). I responded that I had no intention of living past 65 so it was the perfect time for a mid-life crisis!
How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

I just turned 34 in January, and I consider myself an elder statesman. I have been interested in imports for around 13 years, and still buy GT and GTR (Kid at heart!!). I'm addicted to speed and handling, and also teacher 8th grade students Health. One day a student asked if the entire class could take a field trip out to see my car, and get a class picture!
I laughed my butt off that day, but told them that I would rarely drive my car the one hour hike into work. I usually show them pictures from local events, but they really don't seem to know what the cars are that I am showing them. I teach in an mostly urban school district, so the kids concentrate on Escalades and "spinnerz"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wonder, because I go to alot of rock concerts, and hang on the floor, doing my own bit of bashing.. Went to Korn-Mudvayne show over the weekend and starting to notice the kids seem to not like it that there's old people down there.. Maybe like they feel sorry some kids parents are down there with them... Guess what I don't have kids and learned to mosh in the slam dancing days of the 80's..
Anyway, saw a young guy near where I live, driving an EVO and he wouldn't even look at me.. Maybe he needed to concentrate on his 25mph city driving...

man you are cool
and I don't think 45 is nowhere near to old to have an Evo or any sporty car for that matter. Ask again when you start lousing your sight and hearing.(I don´t know how to spell in English)

not many can, usually at this age its either your rents paing for the car/mods or you happen to find a good job and are paying minimum payments on a 6 year plan.
if you have 30 grand to whip outta your pocket at that age then you are one in thousands of spoiled kids

Or when I go to church all the youngsters saying "that's an Evo they are bad..." The other day, I rolled up beside a Honda and the young kid gave me a nod, like what's up, is that really an Evo? I nodded back real coo,l like yeah, you bet your *** it is and it ain't stock either.
on my way to 55

Also, my dad and I bought our evo's around the same time, mine as a daily driver, his as a weekend porche destroyer... he was 51 at the time. Unfortunately, after 781 miles he sold it, and went back to his "roots" and bought a blown '69 camaro, which... is, pretty bad ***. Dont get me wrong though, he prolly had it for over a year before he sold it, like I said, weekends only.
